Sleek Contemporary/Modern

I love the feel of contemporary design. It's sleek. Sophisticated. Uncomplicatedly (not a word, but you get the gist), uncompromisingly modern.  When I think of this style, I think earth tones with pops of color and geometric shapes throughout the design. A few of my favorite publications are constantly brimming with inspiration. There is Architectural Digest, Luxe Interiors and Design, Home and Architectural Trends, Veranda, and Dwell.  To achieve this look, think minimalism. 

A good place to start for clean, refined lines of contemporary style is Armani Casa or Calvin Klein home.  I also love the Ralph Lauren modern penthouse collection. First, a few inspirational looks I love.
